CATHY S. WRIGHTJD
Cathy Wright, JD, is a management consultant with more than thirty years experience in the corporate world. As a litigator, she represented businesses in complex litigation. For the past decade, she has used her experience to help develop organizations, ranging from multinational corporations and governments to small businesses and nonprofits. She also has extensive training and experience as a mediator and has taught mediation, negotiation and communication in a wide variety of settings, including as an Adjunct Professor of Law. She was named The University of Alabama School of Law’s Distinguished Practitioner in Residence for 1997.
Ms. Wright is active in professional and community organizations, and has a broad understanding of community issues. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and the Alabama Bar Association, and has served on the Boards of the American Bar Foundation and the Alabama State Bar. Ms. Wright received the 2007 Birmingham Bar Association’s L. Burton Barnes Award for Public Service.
She has successfully led change initiatives in major corporate and public settings. She works with senior leadership to maximize their effectiveness.
